A team from Plumbing Trade Supplies (PTS) has completed a 102-mile cycle challenge in aid of the company’s partner charities, Mind and Cruse Bereavement Care.

The gruelling route was a round trip of Nottingham, reaching Sherwood Forest Country Park and travelling through the expansive countryside of the East Midlands. The challenge was completed in six hours and 12 minutes.

In total, the cyclists raised over £1,500 for PTS’ principal charities and the 10-strong team received additional support from supplier sponsors including Viessmann, Spirotech, Twyford Bathrooms, Polypipe and Bristan.

Jay Guadagni, branch supervisor at PTS, said: “I was so pleased with everyone in the team and we completed the cycle at an average speed of 16.6m/h, which is not slow! We’d like to thank everyone who supported and donated as it certainly helped to keep us going along the route.”
