The UK arm of the US adhesive brand Gorilla Glue are celebrating a record breaking year of sales after taking the European DIY market by storm.

The adhesive brand launched in the UK in 2008 and has continued its upwards trajectory in the last 12 months continuing its success of over 50% growth year on year.

European sales director Simon Damp has established a clear vision for the UK branch of the company, which focuses on innovative products with bold USPs. He said: “I’m really pleased with the progress we’ve made in the past few years here at Gorilla. Our brand is really important to us and we hope to carry on delivering impressive and reliable results to our consumers.”

The company’s success has meant that it has relocated to new premises three times the size of its previous location. It has also recruited a wave of extra staff to help respond to the boom in demand for its products.
