Ideal Standard International today announced the appointment of Mike Pentecost as marketing director for Ideal Standard in the UK. Mike Pentecost will report to Keith Boad, UK Cluster Business Leader.

Mr Pentecost has held senior commercial roles with AkzoNobel (formerly ICI Paints) and Johnson & Johnson, and for the past year has been working as a consultant for Ideal Standard International focusing on entry into the retail sector with B&Q in the UK. Mr Pentecost will also become a member of the company’s Marketing Leadership Team.

Former UK marketing director, Paul Frankish, will take on a new position with Ideal Standard International as director of business development B2B.

Kerris Bright, chief marketing officer, Ideal Standard International said: “Following a review of Ideal Standard International’s business objectives and the alignment of the marketing organization, we have created a new role in the central marketing team for a director of business development B2B: I am delighted to announce that Paul Frankish, former UK marketing director, has accepted that position. His experience will be invaluable in supporting our business teams in driving profitable B2B growth.”

In the new role, Mr Frankish will be responsible for driving the growth of Ideal Standard International’s B2B practice (particularly non-residential and new residential business). Mr Frankish has a wealth of marketing experience in Ideal Standard International with previous roles including trade marketing manager, European F&A Category Leader, and most recently as UK marketing director. Mr Frankish will report directly to Kerris Bright.
