Hopefield Fab, who produce metal bar tops, over bar glass racks, under-counter units and decorative metalwork - are recruiting new apprentices to join their firm.

The company currently employs two apprentices: Corey Salisbury, aged 16, and Dion Davies, aged 18, both attending Alliance Learning Centre in Horwich. Hopefield Fab recently obtained Master Craftsman status and its management team has over 80 years' experience.

Gary McClung, Managing Director of Hopefield Fab, said: “We understand that we provide a one of a kind service and we are keen to share what we do with budding fabricators. We have enjoyed having the lads here doing their apprenticeships so it's something we want to continue doing. We provide a service that is exciting, interesting and unique, so it's good for youngsters to be given the opportunity to experience a career that they might not otherwise have considered or thought about.

“I would recommend working for Hopefield Fab to any budding apprentice. No two days are the same and you meet a lot of different people! We work on quite high-profile clients as well which I really enjoy. There is also the bonus of working with a fantastic team who really support you and want you to do well."
