The Builders Merchants Federation (BMF) has launched its latest Regional Centre of Excellence with the support of Worcester, Bosch Group.

The growing network of BMF Regional Centres of Excellence is making training courses and regional meetings more accessible to BMF members around the country.

The latest centre, at Worcester, Bosch Group’s flagship training academy, will serve BMF members in the West Midlands. Twenty-five people attended the first BMF regional meeting held at the venue, in October.

The 2,000m2 academy, which has just reopened following a £3.5 million redevelopment, offers extensive practical training facilities for Worcester’s installers, in addition to the excellent meeting accommodation, which has been made available to the BMF.

John Newcomb, Chief Executive Officer of the BMF, said: “This is a fantastic centre that is well used by Worcester’s customers and we are extremely grateful that they are opening it to our members too. We look forward to holding further meetings here, along with our own training courses for members in the region.”

Nick Fothergill, National Training Manager at Worcester, Bosch Group, said: “Worcester, Bosch Group is proud to be recognised as a Regional Centre of Excellence by the BMF. This status will strengthen our relationship with BMF members and enable Worcester, Bosch Group to further promote excellence and best practice throughout the industry.”
