In 2010 SIG Construction accessories launched the first dedicated Merchant Centre in Maidstone covering London and the south east as a specialist division.
Its focus on Merchant customers by offering them an exclusive telephone line, devoted team with expert technical advice and a next day delivery on all stock items. Since then we have opened centres in Bristol, Manchester, Glasgow and Tyneside.
The Merchant Centres were launched to provide SIG’s merchant customers with an extensive ‘second warehouse’, where they could select products from hundreds of different brands and receive impartial advice from our SIG Construction Accessories teams.
The comprehensive expert product and application advice our teams offer within branch and on the phone is complemented by the onsite technical support available, which includes design services for masonry and groundwork projects.
Seven years on and the aim of the centres is still the same - to provide a single point of contact and support to our merchant customers and to source and deliver products on time and within budget. Our Merchant Centres provide all the products and expertise required to support every construction project, from brickwork accessories and masonry to waterproofing and groundwork, and everything in between.
