Free demonstrations on how to install Cure It roofing systems are to be held at the Bury St Edmunds branch of building supplies company Kent Blaxill on 6 November, 2015.

“Cure It is a very good option for flat roofs,” said Andrew English, Kent Blaxill’s heavyside buyer. “It is basically like moulding a glass fibre boat hull on to a roof, making it completely watertight.”

He continued: “It is a fairly new product to us but it has great potential for the small builder as an adjunct to his palette of services. It has a 20-year guarantee but should last a lot longer than that.

“It has not been readily available in this area but we now have it on our shelves – either as a starter kit or for mixing and matching.”

There will be three demonstrations at the Kent Blaxill Bury St Edmunds branch on 6 November at 8am, 10am and 12am.

Ryan Horsley, Kent Blaxill’s Bury St Edmunds branch manager, said: “The Cure It demonstrator has a miniature roof which he uses to show how to put down the resin and fibres, and how to get different finishes. He will get as technical as those watching him want him to be.”

Those who attend will get a voucher for a free bacon roll and coffee.
