LOUGHBOROUGH: Polypipe Civils is calling on all wannabe Lampards and Rooneys to dust off their football boots and enter the Polypipe Run charity five-a-side football tournament at Pride Park, Derby.
The tournament is the latest initiative to be launched under the Polypipe Run – a campaign to create awareness of heart disease within the construction industry and raise vital funds for the British Heart Foundation.
Teams will take part in a full day’s round robin on Derby’s championship pitch after which they’ll attend a prize-giving dinner, where there will be some great prizes up for grabs including a table of 10 for hospitality at a Premiership match of your choice. England’s greatest referee Graham Poll will also regale the crowd with anecdotes of the nation’s – and the World’s - favourite football heroes.
