Travis Perkins Managed Services has hired Nicola Clayton to the role of Social Housing Account Director, and Luke Baker as Business Development Director.

Clayton begins her new role with 30 years of experience in the affordable housing sector, having held various roles in the management, strategic planning, funding, and delivery of affordable housing, using modern methods of construction (MMC), while working with Kirklees Council, Strategic Team Group, and Legal and General Modular Homes.

Baker takes up his role after spending seven years with Jewsons Partnership Solutions, having started as an Account Manager at St Gobain, and then, most recently, working as a Solutions Director within commercial door sets. He is experienced in developing relationships with key customers, suppliers and manufacturers and is passionate about team development.

Clayton commented: “I’m passionate about the need to build more quality affordable housing. A home affects every aspect of someone’s life from their job to their health, so we must get this right. I think that Travis Perkins Managed Services has a role to play in supporting customers to build quality housing and help residents.”

Baker added: “We want to help housing associations and their contractors find solutions that can benefit them and their residents. We are fortunate in this sector to be able to deliver efficiencies that benefit the end user. Supporting housing maintenance customers to achieve more, makes a real difference in communities across the UK.”
