Thurley named head of operations at Masons Timber

NOTTINGHAM: Martin Thurley has been appointed head of operations by Masons Timber Products.

Mr  Thurley has over 20 years of senior management experience of operations and commercial management, gained within the joinery and timber sector.

His role is to lead the company forward in the ongoing development of a customer focused, "profitable and lean manufacturing company". He will take on responsibility for all production, purchasing and logistic processes including quality, health and safety and environmental management.

Masons' managing director Josh Burbidge said: 'We are delighted to recruit Martin to our senior management team as he brings specific successful experience of leading change within a fast-paced, results-oriented and customer-focused environment."

Mr Thurley's in-depth practical understanding of business administration is complemented by high quality academic training. He achieved a distinction is his MBA and is accredited in ISO Environmental and Quality Management. He is a qualified health and safety professionaland Lloyds-registered internal quality systems auditor.
