The Clarison Group has announced the appointment of John Foster in the newly created role of Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) for its UK businesses.
As CCO, Foster will lead the work-winning and pre-construction activities of The Clarison Group’s UK businesses, EAG and ASL. He will work closely with customers across the UK on projects designed, fabricated, and installed by EAG and ASL.
Foster brings a wealth of experience to the role, having been the Commercial Director of ASL since August 2019. He has previously held several executive roles for market-leading construction specialists, including Commercial Director positions at Saint-Gobain and Van Elle.
Foster, who is starting on 1 July, will be reporting to The Clarison Group CEO Mark Oliver.
Mark Oliver, CEO of The Clarison Group, said: “John is well respected throughout the industry and has the experience to build the sales pipelines of both EAG and ASL. His appointment as CCO will help us deliver our goal of making.”
Foster added: “The Clarison Group is rapidly becoming the market-leading façade group in the UK & Ireland. I am thrilled to be part of this important stage in the Group’s development. The UK façade sector has not experienced the same capacity and technical capability in a single domestic entity as The Clarison Group.
“Our sector is rapidly changing, demanding a higher level of engineering than ever before, and a focus on more sustainable and carbon-efficient practices. We are well placed to help our customers and partners to deliver these.”
Launched in February 2021, The Clarison Group combines four leading companies in the façade industry, Alucraft Limited and Williaam Cox, both based in Ireland, and Alucraft Systems Limited (“ASL”) and English Architectural Glazing (“EAG”) located in the UK.
The combined group has over 400 employees and operates from six locations in the UK and Ireland: Dublin, Tamworth, Cannock, Rotherham, Mildenhall and Attleborough. It also employs design teams based in Spain, Poland, and the Philippines.
