TF Solutions has announced the appointment of James Boswell as its new Managing Director.

TF Solutions, which is part of Travis Perkins plc, is a refrigeration, air conditioning and heat pump (RACHP) wholesaler, and the UK’s largest distributor of building materials.

Boswell brings a wealth of industry experience and leadership expertise to the role, having spent nearly a decade within the Travis Perkins Group, including a period as Operations Director at TF Solutions. He returns to the business after a successful tenure as Regional Director for pipeline and heating specialist BSS in the South and South West.

With the experience gained from this recent role, Boswell is eager to build upon the company’s strengths. He explained: “TF Solutions has a strong foundation. My goal is to simplify our approach, reinforce our core values, and provide a clear direction for the business.

“We will continue to focus on our strengths, and what our customers know they can expect from us – exceptional customer service, strong stock availability, next-day delivery, and local relationships – while also expanding our technical capabilities to support our customers’ larger and more complex projects.

“Customers trust that we do what we say we’ll do, and this is an ethos we will build upon with dedicated support. We will focus on enhancing our existing offering while exploring areas to improve and grow.”

Boswell is keen to provide proactive leadership, with a philosophy rooted in visibility and collaboration. “I believe in leading by example. I’m looking forward to working closely with my colleagues to help TF Solutions fulfil its potential."
