The Warwickshire-based Shipston Building Supplies has become part of Sydenhams.

Shipston Building Supplies, which operate from one branch in Shipston-on-Stour, Warwickshire, has been renamed Sydenhams Shipston. The existing team is expected to remain to run the place.

Established in 2003, the business becomes the 38th branch for the independent merchants, which is present throughout Dorset, Hampshire, Wiltshire, Oxfordshire, Somerset, Avon, the Isle of Wight and Guernsey. The network includes 17 Timber & Builders merchants, seven Kitchen & Bathroom showrooms, eight Tool & Plant Hire branches, and five Specialist Timber Centres.
