Leading manufacturer for infrastructure and utilities markets, part of a significant multi £bn global group

This is an excellent opportunity to join a division of a global building products manufacturing business. The company has a proud history and an impressive track record of success.  They have a broad product range, are financially secure, and are well-placed for further growth.

Despite their success, they are not resting on their laurels. They see plenty of opportunity for growth and improvement, across their various brands and products, both organically and potentially via acquisition.

You should have experience in a similar sales leadership role within a medium-large (c£100m+ responsibility) technical building products manufacturing business.

In addition potential candidates:

  • Must have demonstratable experience in driving an aggressive growth strategy, with a strong track record of achieving and stretching sales targets and outperforming the market
  • Should be able to demonstrate experience where they have worked in an influential role, proving their agility and resilience to deliver growth within a large, fast-paced environment
  • Proven leadership and strategic capabilities with the ability to manage different stakeholders and large multi-tiered teams within a large organisation
  • Proven ability to lead commercial teams, including customer relationship management, pricing, specification and strong negotiation skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the flexibility and adaptability to liaise with and manage at all levels in the organisation.
  • Pragmatic, result-driven with an eye for detail and the ability to be both strategic and detail-orientated.
  • Positive attitude, open-minded team player able to collaborate across a global organisation

Naturally, as in any leadership role, you need to be visible with travel throughout the UK and Ireland.  Where you live doesn’t really matter, unless it’s the extremes of the UK.
