After receiving positive feedback and inspiring stories from last winter's support of the Morrisons Supermarket Foodbank campaign, SIG has decided to participate again this winter.

Following last year's effort, 49 branches from the SIG UK Roofing, SIG Interiors, and SIG Specialist Market divisions are collecting donations, while two full shopping trolleys of items will come from the SIG head office team based in Sheffield.

Each branch will collaborate closely with its local Morrison Community Champions to understand what the local food banks require to address their specific needs, ensuring that these efforts will have the greatest possible impact.

Additionally, Morrisons has agreed to provide a 10% discount on all products purchased by SIG, allowing each pound donated to stretch even further.

The branch staff will, therefore, soon be busy creating tailored shopping lists and visiting Morrisons Supermarkets to fill their trolley with items that will be delivered by the Morrisons community team to local food banks before the end of year festivities begin.

“We want to make a real difference for families in need during the festive season, which can be challenging. We hope this initiative will positively impact many families.”
