SIG has announced the return of Kitsons Technical Supplies to provide specialist high temperature and fire protection solutions for the HVAC, industrial, fire protection, and high-temperature sectors.
Acquired by SIG in 1998, Kitsons built its reputation as a specialist distributor of thermal insulation products. The products will be available directly from seven specialist branches offering national coverage, with selected products also available through the SIG Distribution branch network.
In July 2013, Kitsons Thermal Supplies and GRM Distribution had been re-launched as SIG Technical Insulation.
Speaking on the relaunch of the Kitsons brand, Richard Burnley, SIG Distribution UK Managing Director, commented: “Following customer research, it was clear there was a strong recollection of the Kitsons brand.
“We felt the timing was right to bring it back, as we look to continue to grow our market presence and support to our customers in specialist technical insulation into the future.”
