Rockwool has announced the appointments of Cameron Lee to the role of National Sales Manager for Merchants & DIY, and of Rob Cookson to the role of National Accounts Manager – Merchants & DIY.
Lee will lead the Merchants & DIY team, having spent the last nine years working for two insulation companies in branch and regional director roles.
Talking about his new role, Lee said: “I’m looking forward to working with great people in such a well-respected and market-leading UK-based manufacturer. My first priority will be getting to know the team and understanding how I can help them grow and develop to continue providing the very best service to our valued customers.”
Cookson has always worked within the construction industry, and joins Rockwool following his most recent role at a roofing company, where he spent seven years in various sales positions.
His main responsibilities will be looking after Rockwool national builders’ merchant and DIY customers, both at head office level, and supporting branches and regions who want to stock the Rockwool Trade Range.
Speaking about his appointment, Cookson commented: “I’m excited to be part of the team and to be working with a company which is so highly regarded within the industry. I’m looking forward to helping our customers develop their Rockwool ranges and support their own customers with their Rockwool experience.”
Mark Bungay, Commercial Director at Rockwool, concluded: “It’s an exciting time for us here at Rockwool, adding two new knowledgeable colleagues to our Merchant and DIY team. Cameron and Rob each bring a wealth of industry experience to their roles, and will undoubtedly have a positive impact both on the team, and the company as a whole.”
