Focusing on the theme of integrity, the longest-running awards in the industry will once again be honouring outstanding achievements.

The time has arrived to announce the return of the most prestigious awards event in the building materials sector where the stars of the industry are showcased in front of their peers.

Although the 24th edition of the Builders’ Merchants Awards does not take place until the end of the year, nominations can be submitted for the 24 coveted trophies that recognise the best in the business. 

Ranging from Equality, Diversity and Belonging in Merchanting to Builders’ Merchant of the Year and Lifetime Achievement, the Builders’ Merchants Awards offer everyone the chance to celebrate excellence. 

New companies can use the awards to set themselves apart from their competitors and others are able to maximise the opportunity to cement their positions. Individuals have the chance to see their work shared with the industry in categories such as Branch Manager of the Year, Supplier Account Manager, or Trainee/Apprentice of the Year.

Submissions to each category are assessed by a panel of industry leaders against strict judging criteria which ensures that being selected as a winner not only signifies achievement but also recognises the journey and dedication behind it.

By working with an esteemed panel of 17 judges, all awards winners will be confident that they have been chosen based on the merit of the achievements described in their entry. The nominations supplied have taken hours to put together – this is not just putting a tick in a box that takes seconds.

The Builders’ Merchants Awards will, as always, be hosted by celebrity guest (revealed later in the year), who will ensure all attendees have an afternoon – and possibly – a night to remember.
