The Worshipful Company of Builders’ Merchants (WCoBM) has announced that nine new Freemen joined the Company at the latest Court meeting.

The new Freemen are:

  • Jonathan Boland, Kestrel Building Products
  • Richard Campbell-Drew, AkzoNobel
  • Simon Fleet, W Howard Group
  • Ben Giddings, Huws Gray
  • Chris Maityard, Moorgate Management
  • Daniel McKane, YMS Insulation
  • Mark Morris, Breedon Group
  • Louise Williams, Alsford
  • Jamie Wyatt, Consultant.

Master Alan Hawkins said: “I am delighted to welcome nine new Freemen to the Company on behalf of the Court. We hope that they will be inspired to support the Company and its aim to raise awareness of the importance of the role of the builders’ merchant within the construction industry.

“The Company hopes to bring about a thriving and prosperous industry through co-operation, networking and interaction, while also supporting the Lord Mayor, the Sheriffs and the City of London Corporation and its charity work both within the City and beyond.”
