Ronseal Trade has added Ebony to its best-selling 10 Year Woodstain range.
With the same water-based formula that provides the range with its 10-year colour and protection guarantee, users are now offered an even greater selection of colour options for all exterior smooth planed timber.
As with all Ronseal Trade’s pioneering water-based formulas, its 10 Year Woodstain is independently proven to protect from cracking, peeling, blistering and discolouration without the need for a base coat or primer. It also delivers an industry-leading four-hour recoating time, enabling same-day application of the three coats required for both hardwood and softwood surfaces.
Certified by the BBA (96/3303) – as part of the first full trade woodcare range to receive the accreditation – Ronseal Trade’s 10 Year Woodstain has a proven lifespan of at least a decade and a water vapour resistance of 0.08MNs/g. This allows it to dry more readily after exposure to wet conditions and ensures that it is rainproof in one hour.
In addition, unlike many alternative solvent-based products, the water-based woodstain does not crack and peel under increased temperatures, and instead flexes as wood expands.
Ronseal Trade customers now have the choice of six colours in its satin finish; Dark Oak, Deep Mahogany, Natural Oak, Teak and Walnut, as well as the newly added Ebony.
