As National Housebuilder Manager, you will develop and execute strategies to win new business with UK and Ireland National House Builders, reporting directly to their Sales Director David Grace – who is regarded as one of the best in the industry. As a key influencer you will drive a specification-led approach, working closely with house builders, their architects, and contractors to add value and provide a differentiated service. You will work in close collaboration with organisational peers within Sales, Marketing and Product Management to deliver success in revenue and margin growth.
Suitable candidates should have a successful track record in a similar senior business development, sales management or national/key account management role in a similar environment, working for a manufacturer of some kind of technical building product that can be found in newly built homes with a track record of success in developing and growing relationships with the national and regional house builders.
Specific product or category knowledge is not essential. We’re looking for individuals with a strong network of contacts and an excellent reputation with the national housebuilders that will enable them to open doors and get in front of the right people. Once this market starts to grow, there could be the opportunity to develop a team.
Based from home this role will involve regular travel throughout the country.
