National Buying Group (NBG) has added three new Partners to its growing community of independent merchants: Sovini Trade Supplies Ltd, Buildland Ltd and Towy Works Ltd.
Sovini Trade Supplies (STS) is a North West-based builders merchant with years of experience in supplying a range of products to repairs and maintenance and construction companies across the UK. Having recently opened a 2.4-acre flagship store and distribution centre in Bootle, Merseyside, on top of three existing regional branches, STS is aiming to build on its extensive product and service offering.
Also joining the group is Buildland, a family-owned builders merchant which has been operating from its base in Redditch, Worcestershire since 2002, and has since added an additional Coventry branch. The company takes great pride in its focus on sustainability and eco-friendly solutions for the construction industry.
Towy Works will also be joining NBG. Towy is a specialists builders merchant based in Carmarthen that supplies South Wales from its two-floor showroom and builders yard. Since 1795, Towy has been priding itself on its extensive range and fantastic customer service, coining the phrase ‘If you can’t get it at Towy, you can’t get it’.
Alan Evans, Regional Operations Manager at STS, said: “Joining NBG will support us in achieving our goals as a builders merchant, but also as a socially responsible company.
“Our group structure enables us to reinvest our profits into our communities and with the support of NBG, we will be able to increase our profitability. Having this opportunity will hopefully enable us to invest in social housing projects and the Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives we are passionate about.
