The management team at Plumb 4 Less felt that a change was needed to help it to maximise profitability and growth.
Tunbridge Wells and Aylesford-based plumbers’ merchant, Plumb 4 Less is now a Partner merchant of National Buying Group.
Having been in business for more than 25 years, Plumb 4 Less – which also trades as ASK Plumbing – supplies all plumbing parts, boilers, taps, showers, and bathroom suites to plumbers and consumers in the Kent area.
Previously part of another buying group, the management team at Plumb 4 Less felt that a change was needed to help it to maximise profitability and growth.
“We’re really excited to be Partners of National Buying Group,” said Ian Goble, Director of Plumb 4 Less. “We started speaking about NBG to a friend in the trade and heard all about the way we could be benefitting. It didn’t take long before we realised NBG was right for us.”
Since joining NBG, Plumb 4 Less has already been able to make valuable contributions to the deals impacting NBG merchants across the plumbing sector. Goble said: “It’s been great to be able to make a difference and apply our insights to help NBG’s deals and our own progress.”
Plumb 4 Less officially joined NBG towards the end of 2023, which was a significant year for new additions to the group with eight merchants across various specialisms joining in that period.
Phil Bonar, New Partner Development and Recruitment Manager at NBG, added: “Plumb 4 Less has jumped in with both feet which we’re really pleased to see. It is proving to be a good fit to the group already and is a fantastic example of the democratic principles that guide NBG in that each Partner – no matter how big, small, new or senior – has a voice equal to everyone else.”
