Our client is a national, leading provider of hire services across the UK. They offer a wide range of equipment and machinery to support construction, civil engineering, and infrastructure projects.
This position provides an exciting opportunity to join our client’s Southwest field service team- servicing and maintaining a vast range of construction and earthmoving equipment.
Main Responsibilities:
- The routine servicing of construction equipment in line with manufacturers schedule and specification.
- Regular Lubricant and fluid monitoring and replenishment.
- Preventative maintenance / monitoring.
- Fault reporting.
- Cleaning, inspecting and preparing plant for transfer or redeployment
- Fitting replacement parts.
- Working alongside other team members on larger maintenance / repair tasks.
Skills/Experience required:
- Full driving licence
- Good mechanical knowledge
- Experience of plant and construction equipment and hydraulic systems
- Experience of conduction routine maintenance to a required level and standard
- Understanding of Risk assessments and method statements
