Leading power tool manufacturer Makita UK has introduced a new cordless lawnmower to its growing line-up of outdoor equipment.
The 36V DLM538 LXT is a 530mm Lawnmower powered by two 18V LXT Li-Ion batteries in series to drive a powerful 36V motor and is ideal for public spaces and residential areas.
Featuring a 70-litre grass collection box, Makita’s latest lawnmower tackles areas up to 800m2 with ease, so operators can cover vast areas without being constrained by trailing cables or mains power supply. With high no load speeds of up to 3,000rpm, this four-in-one machine offers cutting, collecting, mulching and rear discharge options.
This IPX4-rated mower is designed for British working conditions. The cutting deck is water resistant, and its large, high grip tyres offer improved ground contact to sustain high performance when working over muddy or uneven and bumpy terrain. The machine also features a 10-stage cutting height adjustment (20mm – 100mm) so that users can ensure the machine is optimised for the working conditions.
Operators can expect Makita’s customary attention to user comfort and handling with design features such as tool-less handle height adjustment, rubberised soft grip, and soft start technology included. For ease, the grass box has a grass level indicator to signal the correct time for emptying.
