MacBlair has celebrated the grand opening of its new Lurgan branch at Quarry Business Park, Lurgan, Northern Ireland.
The company, which operates 19 branches across the province, relocated from its previous site in Seagoe, where it had been operating since 2000. The upgraded branch now offers an expanded shop and warehouse, catering to both trade professionals and the public.
The new facility boasts an extended product range, including a newly introduced plumbing section, a doors and floors showroom, and a paint mixing service.
CEO Karol McGuckin and Branch Manager Keith Hamilton officiated the opening, which included an event for staff, customers, and guests. The first 50 customers were welcomed with complimentary gift bags filled with products and promotional items.
CEO Karol McGuckin commented: “I’m delighted to officially open our newest branch here in Lurgan. This is good news for the local area and for local trade and DIY customers.”
To mark the opening, MacBlair also hosted a Big Lurgan Trade Week. The event, held from 4 November to 7 November, featured different suppliers each day – over 30 suppliers in total provided expert advice to MacBlair customers on their projects.
A prize draw rewarded seven costumers for their visit. There were branded giveaways, games, prizes, and a free breakfast for customers to enjoy.
Branch Manager Keith Hamilton said: “We had a fantastic week, enjoyed by our customers, suppliers, and colleagues. I would like to thank all our suppliers for their contributions. Together, we not only highlighted the most innovative products on the market but also made it a fun week."
