GRIMSBY: MKM Building Supplies, Grimsby, will hold a coffee morning on Friday, 28 September, marking the start of the World's Biggest Coffee Morning in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support.
GrimsbyTown Football Club star Liam Hearn has joined with the the merchant to help fund-raising.
"I wish MKM all the best of luck with their coffee morning and hope everyone will support them to raise as much money as possible," he said.
MKM contracts manager Jeff Brand, said: "We have got a fantastic raffle happening on the day, with a GTFC-signed shirt and football, alcohol, chocolates and a variety of vouchers.”
Meanwhile, the efforts have already begun, with name cards at MKM and a Guess How Many Screws competition.
"This time we want to raise far more compared to previous years when we raised more than £1000. The coffee morning will be running from 7.30am until 5.30pm,” said Mr Brand.
