Two of the leading thermal insulation, industrial H&V and high temperature materials suppliers – SIG-owned Kitsons Thermal Supplies and GRM Distribution – have been officially re-launched as SIG Technical Insulation.
Following the announcement by SIG of a major streamlining of trading brands earlier this year, the rebranding of Kitsons and GRM as SIG Technical Insulation is now complete, with marketing materials, vehicle livery and depot signage carrying the new branding.
Paul Gordon, managing director of SIG Distribution, said: “The rebranding is designed to provide greater clarity for customers. Providing consistency across all our trade counters will make sourcing products and seeking technical advice as quick and cost-effective as possible.
“It’s important our customers know that the technical expertise and knowledge that made Kitsons and GRM market leaders in this sector remain at the heart of SIG Technical Insulation. However, with this new, clearer brand, customers will know exactly who to come to each and every time.”
SIG Fixings and SIG Construction Accessories, two businesses that Kitsons and GRM customers have historically often used to source associated fixing and accessories products, are unaffected by the rebrand. Both will continue to trade under their existing names.
Meanwhile, SIG Insulation will be the new name for Sheffield Insulations, Warren Insulation, Orion Trent, Woods Insulation, Franklin, Solent Insulation Supplies, CHD and CH Insulation, while CPD Distribution and Ceiling System Supplies have been rebranded as SIG Interiors.
Mr Gordon concluded: “With these clearly defined business units, we will be able to better communicate the five core areas of specialism within SIG Distribution, to the benefit of both our staff and our customers.”
