James Burrell’s annual Charity Golf Day raised more than £7,000 in support of their nominated charities of the year: Prostate Cancer UK and MIND UK.
A total of 20 teams participated in the fundraiser, which took place at Ramside Hall Golf Club last Wednesday. The day kicked off with bacon rolls and coffee, and ended with a BBQ buffet and prize-giving ceremony to cap off a busy wet day on the course.
The guests participated in several fundraising activities throughout the day, including the Bond It Ball challenge, and a charity raffle offering a variety of prizes donated by suppliers and customers.
Nick Richardson, part of the senior management team at James Burrell, said: “We are extremely grateful to everyone who supported the event including our sponsors, and of course all the golfers who braved the weather out on the course. The day wouldn’t have been possible without the amazing support.
We are excited to carry on with our ongoing fundraising and looking forward to see our final total at the end of the year.”
