Door distributor's two year commitment to local charity delivers fantastic results with more to come in 2025.

Door distributor JB Kind has raised an impressive £3,670 for South Derbyshire Community Voluntary Support (CVS) as part of its two-year fundraising commitment.

Chosen by employees as the company’s charity of the year for 2024 and 2025, South Derbyshire CVS provides crucial services like an emergency food bank, projects to reduce loneliness and isolation, and mental wellbeing support.

Despite this fantastic total, JB Kind isn’t slowing down. With another year of fundraising activities ahead, the company aims to help further by the end of 2025.

JB Kind’s Managing Director, James Cadman, highlighted the importance of supporting local initiatives during a challenging time.

He said: “All our staff are aware of the cost-of-living crisis and its impact on our community. South Derbyshire CVS does incredible work supporting individuals facing financial hardship, loneliness, and mental health challenges. We’re proud to play a small part in helping them make a difference.”

The company’s main 2024 fundraising events included a successful charity golf day, an Easter raffle, bake weeks, and a lively Summer pub quiz.

Hollie Benton, Chief Executive of South Derbyshire CVS, said: “We are delighted to receive this fantastic donation from JB Kind. Not only have their team worked tirelessly to support the charity’s fundraising efforts, but they have also spent time with the SDCVS team to get to know our services and understand the impact of the work we do. The number of residents needing support from the Food Bank increases each year, and without the support of local businesses like JB Kind, we wouldn’t be able to meet this demand. We look forward to working together in 2025”
