The biggest and best industry awards return at the end of the year, with a core theme that shows an overriding commitment to honesty, ethics and doing the right thing.

The 24th Builders’ Merchants Awards is returning to the Park Plaza, Westminster Bridge, on Friday 28 November 2025.

This year the long running event will be acknowledging the best of the industry at a critical time. A time of continual change where the future is less certain, where politics change at the drop of a hat and sustainability dominates our thoughts.

It is a year that will continue to throw the same challenges as this decade and ask even more from all of us, meaning these awards are more important than ever before.

Increased demand equals added pressure and this is something that can lead to mistakes and cutting corners. This is where pride and the desire to do the best job possible for the customer can - and should - be celebrated.

With this in mind, the core theme of the 2025 Builders’ Merchants Awards will be integrity. Celebrating excellence and reminding everyone that this sector is full of amazingly talented individuals who continue to place the customer first.

The theme is also a statement and one that BMN is making to the industry. The Builders’ Merchants Awards are built on nearly a quarter of a century of honesty and integrity, driven by a judging panel that is selected from across the sector. It is the original industry awards and one that we pride ourselves on running with integrity at its heart.

Celebrating excellence for over two decades is something of which we are immensely proud. Each winner has been selected for a specific reason, based directly on the judging criteria. This ensures that every single submission we receive is painstakingly pored over and not just shortlisted because of a name or a particular organisation.

Taking away a trophy at the Builders’ Merchants Awards is an achievement. It reflects the hard work, dedication and integrity that each winner, either an individual or a company, has shown.
We are looking forward to welcoming everyone to the biggest and best industry awards on the calendar. We will be opening the website for submissions in April.

Until then, a small number of sponsorship opportunities remain. Anyone interested please contact BMN’s Associate Publisher Lucyanne Matthews at lamatthews@hgluk.com.
