KENT: Brick manufacturer, Ibstock, has announced the launch of Ibstock-Kevington, a new arm of the company that has been created to change the way in which special shapes and brickwork components are provided in the UK.
Kevington was originally acquired by Ibstock in 2001 and has been a leading brick fabrication company for several years. The combined Ibstock-Kevington business will set a new industry standard in technical support and design advice, and offer a unique and expanding range.
In addition to his role as sales and marketing director at Ibstock, John Richards has been appointed as managing director of Ibstock-Kevington. He commented: "I am pleased to announce the launch of Ibstock-Kevington. This new venture will give us a leading edge through what is the building and brick industry's worst and longest downturn for several decades.
"I have a fantastic team behind me and we look forward to the beginning of what is an exciting time for all concerned. During this difficult period we are continuing to stay positive and work together towards a brighter future for both ourselves and our customers."
Ibstock-Kevington's product range spans cut and bond special shapes and arches, through to its Faststack chimneys and Fastwall® cladding systems, as well as Manchester Brick and its precast precision masonry components.
The new business will deliver exceptional quality, value, service and innovation in every market sector, from everyday special shapes through to the most intricate and precise specification detail.
To complement its products, Ibstock-Kevington will offer customer service to include tailored deliveries and collections from site. It will also package products by house plot number and, for complex installations, offer a contract management service.
