Howdens has launched a Click & Collect service available across its 800+ depots.
The new service allows tradespeople to connect with their local depot 24/7, check local stock, and place orders, which are then ready to collect after just 15 minutes. Howdens latest prices will be visible for thousands of products, allowing users to provide instant and accurate quotes to their customers.
Once an order is available to collect, a QR code will appear in the trade app which will be used to collect from the depot.
Paul Brenton, Digital Director at Howdens, says: “Howdens is investing heavily in digital capabilities that will make the lives of our customers easier. This new service is about providing convenience to our customers through the ability to check stock, order the exact quantities they require and pick up at a time that suits them.
“The new Click & Collect option allows us to deliver the ease of online shopping whilst maintaining our personal in-depot service during collection. Customers will now have more time to speak to our employees about additional support around products, fitting or design support.”
