Howdens has expanded its Irish footprint with two new depots opened this year, and ambitions for a further three sites in 2025.

Howdens, the trade kitchen supplier, has opened the doors to two new depots located in Blackpool Cork and Tralee, as the company expands its Irish footprint, with a total of 13 depots now operating in the Republic of Ireland, and ambitions to open three more this calendar year. This will take the total number of sites to 30 depots across all of Ireland.

The two new openings have created 12 new jobs, and will carry stock across all Howdens’ categories.

Tradespeople local to the new depots can now take advantage of services such as the company’s free home measure and design service, Template and Fit solid surface worktops, and premium Paint to Order timber kitchens, available in 24 colours.

Howdens is also the exclusive supplier of brands such as Lamona appliances, Oake & Gray flooring and their latest own brand launch, Fuller & Forge ironmongery.

Brian Buchan, Howdens’ Regional Director for Republic of Ireland, said: “We’re delighted to open the doors to our two brand new depots in Blackpool Cork and Tralee, showing our continued investment in Ireland.

"We are committed to supporting local tradespeople by expanding our bricks and mortar locations and have ambitions to open three more depots before the end of this calendar year.”
