
STAFFORDSHIRE: Gibbs & Dandy, has appointed Rob Williams as its new commercial manager.
Overseeing joinery, ironmongery, paint, tools, glass and electrical development, Mr Williams is tasked with developing the scope and profitability of these product areas, further enhancing Gibbs & Dandy’s reputation for offering tailored solutions and specialist advice in a wide range of product areas.
Previously a market manager for Jewson, Mr Williams has worked in the merchant industry for 16 years and is looking forward to bringing his experience to the Gibbs & Dandy fold.
Speaking on his new role, Mr Williams said: “I hope to use my experience within the industry to really progress Gibbs & Dandy’s already well established specialisms. As a merchant it has a great reputation for providing expertise and product depth across a variety of sectors, so I hope to bolster this with the addition of even more innovative products and services.
“I’ll be working closely with our business development managers, as well as the branch managers, who have unparalleled knowledge of the local building and trade market, to ensure we maintain and develop our position within the industry.”
