YORKSHIRE: As it continues to spread the good word about the benefits of wall-hung sanitaryware to the UK market, Geberit has further extended its retail sales force with the appointment of Marnie Hopkinson to the position of retail area sales manager Yorkshire.

Joining the company from Triton Showers where she worked for more than ten years in a variety of sales roles, Ms Hopkinson's role at Geberit will involve developing the wall-hung concept and sales across the Yorkshire and Humberside region, with a particular focus on retail showrooms. Marnie will be responsible for training showroom staff and installers on Geberit’s Duofix wall-hung framing systems to ensure all installations are completed without fault and thus maintaining the unrivalled reputation of the Geberit brand.

Commenting on her new role, Ms Hopkinson said: “The products really speak for themselves in terms of the quality and the engineering, which for a salesperson is a great weight off your mind to know that the vast majority of your customers will be satisfied ones. Geberit is a very professional, modern and forward thinking global business, with great respect for its employees and customers, so I am very pleased to have been chosen as their newest Retail Sales Manager.

“I am still in the process of visiting our approved retailers, but hope to be settled in very soon and expanding the number of displaying outlets and bringing wall hung to the masses.”
