Geberit UK, a provider of sanitary and piping systems, has achieved recognition as one of the UK's Best Mid-Sized Companies to Work For.
The firm has been ranked number 61 in the UK’s Top 100 league table assessing the best mid-sized companies to work for, along with being ranked number 3 for the manufacturing sector and number 34 for the West Midlands, where it is based.
Geberit UK joined ‘Best Companies’ earlier in 2024 to gain valuable insight into its people and perceptions, which resulted in being given a Best Companies' one-star accreditation, signifying 'Very Good' levels of workplace engagement and satisfaction.
As part of the Best Companies 2024 Big Reveal, Geberit UK was also recognised for its ongoing commitment to fostering an exceptional workplace culture and investing in its people by being ranked within the UK’s Top 100.
Best Companies is a workplace engagement specialist that aims to help organisations become better places of work, by measuring, improving and recognising engagement. The first Best Companies to Work For list was launched in 2001.
The accreditation programme aims to set the standard of workplace engagement in the UK, recognising organisations and managers who genuinely value and respect their employees.
Mark Larden, Managing Director at Geberit UK, said: "This recognition is a testament to our dedication to creating an environment where our employees can thrive.
"Our success in delivering outstanding solutions to architects, contractors, and installation specialists starts with our people."
The achievement follows several strategic initiatives launched by Geberit UK to enhance employee development and customer service excellence.
January 2024 saw the launch of a comprehensive New Leader Development Programme, designed to identify and nurture future leaders within the organisation. This builds on the company's membership of the Institute of Customer Service, which began in January 2023.
The business has also implemented extensive customer service excellence training programmes. Additionally, Geberit has introduced comprehensive feedback mechanisms for customers and employees, working towards achieving the ServiceMark accreditation.
These initiatives form part of Geberit's broader strategy to maintain its position as an industry leader in both product innovation and service delivery. The company's investment in people development and customer service excellence directly benefits its partners across the construction sector, from architects and specifiers to installers and distributors.
