GRS Building Products (GRSBP) has recently awarded their materials handling contract to Linde Material Handling UK.
The new fleet will be split across the 15 GRSBP bagging sites and consists of entirely one model, Linde’s new H 25, 2.5 tonne capacity engine powered truck which was launched just a year ago. The design of this truck was influenced by a survey of almost a thousand forklift operators, resulting in a truck which supports and protects them in an incredible way.
The contract, consisting of 35 units, represents a huge investment for GRSBP and is its largest order for materials handling equipment on record.
GRSBP delivers over 100,000 bags of stone and landscaping products to builders’ merchants and retail outlets nationwide every day.
John Bradshaw, Business Performance Manager at GRS Group, commented: “Quality and reliability are obviously key factors in applications such as this, but primarily, the safety and comfort of our operators.
