BSS Industrial has recognised Exeter as its 2013 ‘Branch of the Year’.
The four regional Branch of the Year awards were presented at the BSS Industrial annual conferences. Along with Exeter, the Wirral, Norwich, and Wandsworth branches each scooped the top award within their region.
All of BSS Industrial’s 64 branches were judged by the senior team on various financial and customer service-based assessments.
Geoff Dove, BSS Exeter branch manager, said: “Winning the 2013 Branch of the Year award is a fantastic accolade for the whole team. They’ve worked exceedingly hard over the past 12 months to ensure customers are happy and regularly coming through the doors. I am extremely proud of the whole team and this award is a reflection of all their hard work and effort.”
Chris Hufflett, managing director of BSS Industrial, added: “We take this award very seriously within BSS Industrial and given we now have well over 60 branches, this year’s awards were probably the most competitive on record. The Exeter branch performed outstandingly well during 2013 and while it was a close call between the finalists, they emerged as worthy winners. I’d like to take this opportunity to congratulate Geoff and the rest of the Exeter team for all of their hard work over the last 12 months.”
During its annual conferences, BSS Industrial also announced its regional building services and industrial salespeople of the year, with Mark Nicholson and Pete Tinston picking up the respective awards in the Central region; Drew Huntington and Simon Ockenden in the London and South East region; Phil Smith and Mick Adlam in the South and South West region; and Tony Burt and Dean Fairclough in the Scotland, Ireland and North region.
BSS Industrial’s ‘Trade Counter of the Year’ regional awards were also announced at the conferences, with the Norwich, Borehamwood, Exeter and Aberdeen branches picking up the awards in the Central; London and South East; South and South West; and Scotland, Ireland and North regions respectively.
