The Encon Group has appointed Joe Hindmarch as its new Regional Fire Protection Manager for the Midlands & North.

In his region, Hindmarch will work closely with Encon’s North East, Leeds, North West, Wrexham, Nottingham and Birmingham branches to support customers with the products, knowledge and guidance they need for their projects. Customers include specialist fire protection contractors, drylining contractors, main building contractors, housebuilders and builders’ merchants.

Hindmarch’s industry experience with building materials manufacturers provides a grounding for his role at Encon, while he also looks forward to growing his specialist knowledge with industry qualifications from the Institute of Fire Engineers (IFE).

He commented: “I’m looking forward to strengthening my expertise in such a vital area for our industry. I’m aware of Encon’s reputation for outstanding service and knowledgeable teams, particularly in passive fire protection where Neville White and Chelsea Green [Regional Fire Protection Manager – London & South East] have been doing such great work. I’m excited to learn from my new colleagues and build relationships with key customers and suppliers.”
