Iain Holmes will work closely with Encon’s Newcastle, Leeds, North West, Nottingham and Birmingham branches.

The Encon Group, the independent distributor of building solutions, has appointed Iain Holmes as its new Regional Fire Protection Manager for the North and Midlands.

Holmes will work closely across those branches to support customers in areas such specialist fire protection contractors, drylining contractors, builders’ merchants, housebuilders and main building contractors.

Holmes joins with an abundance of industry experience, working in construction for over 30 years predominately in manufacturing and in areas such as thermal insulation and light gauge steel. He thrives in both technical and commercial aspects and will be putting his expertise into practice to support customer projects.

“I’m very pleased to start my new role with Encon in a vital area for our industry. It has never been more important for customers to receive the right support when it comes to fire protection, particularly in light of recent regulatory changes," he said.
