Daikin UK has announced the appointment of Tomoji Miki as its new Managing Director.

Tomoji’s career spans over 30 years at Daikin, during which he has worked exclusively in sales and held key leadership roles. His international experience includes 13 years in China, seven and half years in Brazil, and three years in Malaysia.

He also served as Co-Department Manager of Daikin Europe’s Commercial DX SBU, further demonstrating his global expertise. In his roles as Director of Daikin Malaysia and Daikin Brazil, Tomoji successfully drove growth by embracing both local business practices and Daikin’s global strategic vision.

Tomoji succeeds Hiroyasu Ishikawa, who has been appointed Managing Director of Daikin Central Europe.

Commenting on his new role, Tomoji stated: “I look forward to meeting many of Daikin’s customers in the coming months to understand how we can develop and grow our businesses together.

“We see great potential in the residential and commercial markets. We would like to go back to basics: providing the best products, best services, and best technical proposals that the market demands. In the residential market, we are also looking to strengthen our service business.”

Mark Dyer will continue to provide support as Deputy Managing Director, ensuring a smooth leadership transition.
