The brand new 2.5 acre site includes a Benchmarx kitchen showroom, a new plumbing, heating and bathroom range and a tool hire service.
The site is a low-carbon branch and it boasts solar panels, electric charging points, electric forklift trucks, and a heat source pump, helping to deliver on Travis Perkins ambition of decarbonising its fleet and becoming a net-zero carbon producer.
The Mayor of Cheltenham, Councilor Steve Harvey, said: “I was absolutely delighted to be invited to open the revitalised and updated Travis Perkins Branch in Mead Road. My appreciation goes to Sean Watson for the tour and meeting so many enthusiastic staff.”
Branch Manager Sean Watson said: “We’re really excited to be opening the doors to our newly relocated site. At 2.5 acres the site is huge and will serve as a one-stop shop for everyone’s building and construction needs. We’re situated in a really ideal location that will serve the local community.”
