The equipment, which can process six litres per minute, can create render in any RAL colour and also be used to tint masonry paint.

Independent family-owned builders’ merchant, Beesley & Fildes, has invested in a new render tinting machine in its Walkden branch in Salford.

Ray Bradshaw, Sales Representative at Beesley & Fildes Walkden branch, said: “We’ve opted for one of the most advanced pieces of machinery on the market to enhance our render offer for customers. The tinting process takes just minutes providing a very efficient, high-quality service for applicators as well as DIYers.

“The equipment is already proving very popular and we expect this demand to increase further in the coming months. Rising brick costs combined with a potential uptick in housebuilding is likely to increase the use of render, particularly for timber frame construction.

“Our investment also ensures we can serve customers seeking to cost-effectively refresh their existing properties. From pea green and sunset yellow through to anthracite grey, we can tint breathable masonry paint in a vast range of colours for refurbishment projects.”

Customers can use the new render tinting service by visiting the Walkden depot or placing an order via any of Beesley & Fildes’ branches in Birkenhead, Warrington, Huyton, Liverpool, Chester, Widnes, Radcliffe, and Swinton.

The equipment adds to a wide range of render products available in branch and online from leading manufacturers including VPI, Parex and K Rend Silicone.
