Beesley & Fildes has promoted Craig Halpin to the role of Group Technical Sales Manager to lead its newly launched technical sales service.
The new offering provides a single point of contact for all Beesley & Fildes’ departments, including construction, civil engineering, landscaping, joinery, plumbing, kitchens, bathrooms, and roofing. Customers can access a variety of support to assist with their projects; ranging from in-branch design services and material quotations through to site surveys and measurements.
The new service will be led by Craig Halpin who has been promoted to Group Technical Sales Manager. With more than 10 years’ experience of the merchant industry, Craig was formerly Beesley & Fildes’ Huyton branch Sales Manager and was recently named a Top 100 Achiever by BMN and the Builders Merchant Federation (BMF).
“Whether a customer wants to carry out a refurbishment or build a new house, our technical sales service provides tailored support from the ground up,” explained Halpin. “As so many different elements are needed to plan and deliver these projects, our aim is to tie them together to make the whole process simpler and quicker for customers. That could anything from help with roof truss or floor design using industry-leading software through to sourcing prices for all the required building materials.
“We also have the skills inhouse to guide on issues such as the latest building regulations and how these could affect product choices.”
