Beers Timber and Building Supplies, and MBS Plumbing and Heating name new MD

Paul Conboy has been named as the new Managing Director of Beers Timber and Building Supplies, and MBS Plumbing and Heating.

Conboy has been a Director at Beers since 2005. He replaces Michael Beer, the current MD of Beers Timber & Building Supplies, who has been in the role since 1979,

Beer commented: "Paul has been a huge asset to the company. He is an important part of our growth to Multi Branch Timber and Builders Merchants servicing the Northwest.

"Paul builds great relationships with customers and suppliers alike and will continue to build on these in his new role as MD. Paul will also continue in his role as Timber Category Director of the Fortis Buying Group."

Beer, will be taking on a new role as Group Chairman for the Beers Group of Companies, which includes Beers Timber and Building, Evans Bellhouse, and Tonge Bridge Timber.
