Heating and hot water specialist Baxi has become a member of the Builders Merchants Federation (BMF).
The company says it will use its BMF membership to "continue to lead the transition to cleaner, low-carbon solutions by strengthening relationships with other key suppliers and collaborating on industry issues".
As founding members of the Construction Inclusion Coalition, the two organisations also hope to build on what they see as their shared commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion across the construction and heating sectors. Attracting a more diverse talent pool into the industry will be key to acquiring the skills needed to deliver net zero. Through its BMF membership, Baxi hopes to reinforce this commitment through further collaboration that will drive positive action for equality.

The BMF provides us with the perfect platform from which we can work with other suppliers and merchants towards the same common goals.

House will be launching the business’s membership by speaking at the BMF’s Plumbing & Heating Forum, which will be held at InstallerSHOW 2024, at the NEC in Birmingham.
