The Conservative Party Conference allowed the trade association to speak to four ministers.

The Builders Merchants Federation has been talking about major industry issues at the Conservative Party Conference held in Manchester this week.

BMF’s CEO John Newcomb and Policy & Public Affairs Manager, Brett Amphlett, met Chancellor Jeremy Hunt MP, Construction Minister Nusrat Ghani MP, the Housing Minister Rachel Maclean, and Lord Callanan, Energy Efficiency Minister.

Throughout the conversations the pair revealed the challenges in the construction sector, and possible solutions, so the government is aware of the key issues currently affecting the BMF's 900 members.
