The Builders Merchants Federation (BMF) has announced the theme, host and location for its Annual Members’ Day Conference and Awards in September.

Focusing on the theme “Engaging with the Future”, the BMF Conference and Awards will take place at the Hilton Metropole in Birmingham on 17 and 18 September. 

Returning as host for the second consecutive year is TV and radio presenter Colin Murray. A three-time Sony Gold winner, Murray has covered everything from sport to music and lifestyle. Among his many credits, he has hosted Radio 5 Live’s sports panel show, Fighting Talk and BBC’sMatch of the Day 2, as well as Glastonbury Festival coverage on BBC Three and Radio 1. Murray also hosted a virtual version of the Builders' Merchants Awards in 2020.

The BMF has also confirmed that NMBS will be the headline sponsor for the two-day event.

In addition to informative and entertaining conference sessions, and interactive workshops, BMF Members’ Day encompasses sporting and social networking opportunities, including the BMF Golf Tournament and a black-tie Awards Dinner celebrating members’ achievements.
