Three hundred members travelled north of the border for the annual celebration l on the banks of Loch Lomond.
The Builders Merchnats Federation's ‘Burns Supper’ Night for its members north of the border took place at the luxurious surroundings of Cameron House on the banks of Loch Lomond on Friday 26 January.
The BMF’s Burns Night celebration is its biggest annual event in Scotland, eagerly awaited and very well supported by members with well over 300 people attending this year.
John Newcomb, BMF CEO, said: “Once again the BMF’s Scottish region has organised a fantastic event. Our thanks go to our headline sponsors Velux, together with supporting sponsors Brett Martin, Garador, Dart Tool Group, Azpects, Okarno (Artex) and Fakro for their generous support, and to everyone who helped to raise such a fantastic sum for our charity.”
The event has a very traditional Scottish theme, as befits a celebration of the birthday of the most famous Scottish poet, and included the traditional piping in of the haggis, some excellent food, lively dancing and a live charity auction that raised a total of £8,200 for the BMF’s charity of 2024, the Lighthouse Construction Industry charity.
With this event being sold out some weeks beforehand, BMF members are advised to keep a look out on the BMF website events page for the location and booking information for the 2025 Burns Night.
